House of Hows

From word-of-mouth referrals to a website that converts parents round the clock.

Before

A Facebook page and scattered WhatsApp groups — no way for parents to explore the full offering, verify results, or book a trial without calling first

After

A professional website that showcases results, explains the methodology, and takes trial class enquiries at any hour — even at midnight before PSLE season.

The Challenge

House of Hows had spent years building a strong local reputation through consistent results — 90% of students improve at least two grade bands — and media coverage in the Straits Times, CNA, and Business Times. But without a proper web presence, parents who hadn't heard of them through a friend couldn't find them, and those who did had no way to evaluate whether House of Hows was the right fit. The centre's full range — Primary, Secondary, and JC tuition, integrated counselling, and the Panic Booster intensive programme — was essentially invisible online.

How We Built It

We designed and built a fast, mobile-first marketing site in Next.js that leads with their most compelling proof points: documented grade improvements and media credentials. Each academic level gets its own service page covering subjects, class sizes (capped at 6–10 students), and teaching methodology. A structured trial class enquiry form routes by level and urgency, with a direct WhatsApp path for last-minute Panic Booster requests ahead of PSLE, O Level, and A Level. The site is optimised for high-intent Singapore tuition search terms and loads under 1.5 seconds on mobile — because most parents are researching between classes on their phones.

Results

  • Monthly online enquiries doubled in the first four weeks post-launch
  • Trial class bookings now arrive through the website with no manual back-and-forth
  • Parents can self-qualify by level and subject before reaching out — reducing unqualified leads
  • Panic Booster programme pages drive urgent sign-ups in the final weeks before national exams
  • Media credentials displayed prominently to build instant trust with first-time visitors
